Visits for new Reception children are arranged during the term before they start school. These visits are planned to familiarise the children with their teacher, their classroom and with the idea of being in a school. We make every effort to ensure that the all-important step of starting school is as happy and welcoming as it can be. To this end there is particularly close contact with the parents during the settling in period.If parents are refused admission for their child they have the right to appeal and the Local Education Office will provide details of the procedure.

Entry to the school takes place in:

September - for those children whose birthday falls between September 1st and December 31st.
